The Bliss Charity School is a voluntary-aided primary school with single form entry and a total of 188 pupils. The school is located in the heart of the community on the green in the picturesque rural village of Nether Heyford in West Northamptonshire. Our voluntary-aided status provides an autonomy and independence rarely found.

We are looking for a permanent full time or part time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide educational support to children, cover PPA, staff absence and work with small targeted groups for additional learning support. The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 qualification or equivalent in terms of a degree or experience.  Training will be given.  They will also be:

  • Passionate about engaging with children and supporting them in their educational development
  • Can motivate children to become enthusiastic lifelong learners
  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Has experience across both primary key stages
  • Is themselves an enthusiastic learner keen to expand their knowledge through CPD
  • Is hardworking, committed and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ to support our pupils
  • Is a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

We are also looking for a full/part time Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN.
