Ofsted
We are extremely proud to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection held on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd November 2023. We are delighted to inform you that The Bliss Charity School has retained its ‘Good’ judgement by Ofsted in our latest inspection.
The Ofsted process is rigorous and in recent years there has been significant changes. Ms. Hussain, our HMI Lead Inspector, was particularly impressed with our enthusiastic learners who ‘rejoice in the things that unite communities’. Throughout the two days of inspection, your children shone in every way, making the whole school team feel exceptionally proud. We also appreciate the hard work and commitment demonstrated by each member of the Bliss team.
We would like to thank those of you who filled in Parent View, sent messages to the inspectors and gave your time to talk to Mr Brown in the playground; this was all considered in the judgement.
Please see the attached report which will also soon be published on the Ofsted website within 7 days. Additionally, it can be found, via the following link, on our school website:

What this means for us now:
- We will continue to embed newly implemented systems and curriculums
- School leaders and governors will be reviewing all the feedback we received over the course of the inspection in depth, and will look to update our school improvement plan accordingly
- We will update staff/governors in upcoming meetings on how we’ll apply any feedback as part of our ongoing plan of action to improve the school
- Our next inspection will be in approximately 4 years’ time
None of this would be possible without the support of our entire school community. Please accept our thanks for cultivating a positive partnership with the school team and for the commitment you show to your children’s personal development and learning.
