'The Countryside Education Centre' in Holdenby'
Our new topic is 'Home Sweet Home' which focuses on looking at houses and homes, buildings and materials amongst many other exciting things.
We have decided to start our topic with a trip to 'The Countryside Education Centre' in Holdenby. On Monday 6th November, the children will be spending the day outside; building dens, looking at animal houses and habitats and taking part in campfire activities.
There will be no cost for this trip as we are able to subsidise it using our Class 1 curriculum budget. We will be leaving school at 9.30am and returning in time for the children to go home at 3.15pm. The children will need to wear warm clothes and wellies. They will also need a waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers if you have them), a hat and gloves. The children will need to bring a small bag with a packed lunch and plenty of drinks.
Please come and ask if you have any further questions.
