Bliss Charity

PSHE Consultation

The government have published new curricula for Relationships Education and Health Education both of which will become statutory at the beginning of the next academic year – please see the attached guide ‘Understanding Relationships and Health Education in your child’s primary school: a guide for parents.’

In readiness for September 2020, the staff and governors of The Bliss Charity School have developed a new policy for Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) lessons, which includes how both Relationships Education and Sex Education will be taught at our school.

As part of our consultation process on these new curricula, Mrs. Newton (our PSHE Co-ordinator) is available to meet with parents/carers should they wish to discuss the policy, share their views or ask any questions – if you would like to meet with Mrs. Newton, please arrange to do so before Wednesday 18th December via the school office.
